IMPORTANT UPDATE: (COVID-19) Update Health Alert
Soccer New Brunswick has been monitoring the most recent developments with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) for New Brunswick. All zones in the province will move to the updated Yellow level at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 7th.
Sports teams will be allowed to play within their league across zones, following their operational plan. Tournaments or larger events within a zone may be permitted, subject to the approval of an operational plan.
As a result of these changes phase 3 of the Soccer New Brunswick Return To Play is now permitted which allows competitions to resume within the Province.
Due to additional risk that out of region competition presents Soccer New Brunswick is requiring that all club members obtain our approval prior to out of Health Zone competition. COVID Yellow Phase Regional Competition Travel Request.

Sport Competition Directives:
- Soccer games between 2 teams anywhere in the Province are permitted. Whiile tournaments may only be held in their public health zone with less than 150 participants;
- Individual sport meets/events/races may host competitions with less than 150 participants in their public health zone but may only host intra-Provincial events with less than 50 participants; (for close contact sports refer to Q. 13 of the FAQs)
- Clinics/camps (team or individual sports) may host clinics in their public health zone with less than 150 participants but may only hold an intra-provincial clinic with less than 50 participants.
- Separate operational plans are required for specific competitions and clinics which must address travel, etc. in addition to the usual risk mitigation measures.
