WELCOME TO THE 2012 PREMIERSHIP SOCCER PROGRAM
Premiership tryouts will begin on Tuesday, March 27th with final team selection to be completed by Saturday, April 14th. Tryouts for each age group will consist of a maximum of two weeknight and one weekend session.
Any player interested in trying out must be registered NO LATER than Saturday, March 17th @ 1:00pm as there will be no on-site registration. Registration can be done online, through the FDSA website (www.fdsa.org), by mail or during one of TWO in person site registrations (see Registration Information for exact dates and times).
FDSA has another successful season in 2011 with six of our eight teams competing in the provincial final and the U16 Boys winning the Provincial Championship. With many of the same coaches and players vying to return, we expect another successful summer on the horizon.
George Lucas, Soccer NB Provincial Keeper Coach, will once again provide high performance keeper training to the designated keepers of Premiership and Division I. Training will take place once a week at a minimal cost.
A “competitive” information session for all interested parents and players will be held in Salon A and B at the Fredericton Inn on Wednesday, March 14th at 6:30 pm. All players (including returning players) and parents should attend. Program information will be reviewed before breaking off into individual sessions where coaches will make a presentation to their groups. This will be a good time to answer any questions you may have regarding the Premiership and Division 1 program.
