Spring Skills Centre
Program details:
- April 15th – June 1st
- Seven weeks of programming – 14 training sessions and 7 game days
- Age groups are U7/U9/U11 – for 2024, this is girls and boys born 2013-2018
- Trained coaching staff consisting of ex/current University players helped by current FDSA Players participating in Coach Education courses
- Training: Station based training focusing on individual technique and situational decision making
- Gameday: On Saturdays, players will get the opportunity to put their practiced skills to the test! Teams will change from weekend to weekend. The intent of gameday is to be an organized form of “pick-up soccer” to encourage players to learn to play through as many unique situations as possible while constantly working with new groups.
Schedule overview:
- Participants choose to train either Mon/Wed (South) OR Tues/Thurs (North)
- South : Mondays & Wednesdays (5:30-6:30pm) at Grant Harvey Turf
- North: Tuesdays (6-7pm) & Thursdays (5:30-6:30pm) at Willie O’Ree Turf
- Games will take place 8-9am, 9-10am or 10-11am on Saturdays at Grant Harvey Turf
