WELCOME TO THE 2012 DIVISION I SOCCER SEASON
The soccer season is fast approaching and plans are underway for a successful summer of Division I soccer. This is a developmental program for the premiership teams that allows athletes to play at a higher level of competition than recreation. Teams will be selected through an open tryout process, beginning the week of April 23rd.
With the success of the RDP program, there should be an impressive contigency of returning and new players entering the program. For the summer of 2012, the FDSA hopes to field 9 teams:
U12 Girls - 2 teams
U12 Boys – 2 teams
U14 Girls – 1 team
U14 Boys - 2 teams
U16/18 Girls – 1 team
U16/18 Boys – 1 team
Teams will once again play in the West Region Soccer League (WRSL) which will allow for Division I teams to have a regular schedule of practices and games. The teams will play clubs teams from FDSA, New Maryland and Oromocto during the week and teams from the South Region (Saint John area) on some weekends, all the while vying for a position in the West New Brunswick Championship. Teams will also be competing for the right to represent the region at the Soccer NB Provincial Championships in late August.
NOTE: The Division I players that finishes first in the WRSL will be eligible to participate in the Soccer NB Division I Provincial Club Championships. The second provincial spot will be determined through a play-off.

- Registration Deadline: Saturday, April 14th @ 1:00pm
- Division I Try-Outs: April 23rd – May 12th
- Regular Weekly Practices / Games (turf & grass): TBC
