FDSA held its annual awards celebration this past Sunday, September 19th at Willie O’Ree Complex Turf in conjunction with UNB Reds Soccer Home games vs St.FX.

Individual team and Major Club awards were presented throughout the day as part of the revised traditional programme of the Awards Gala. The day was a big success and the club was able to honour all the great achievements of the season while providing both Women’s and Men’s soccer teams with a great atmosphere and crowd for their only home games in Fredericton this season.

Our year end jamboree is taking place this Saturday, August 21^st at Fredericton High School.

We are very pleased to announce Green’s Catering will be coming to our event this year! They will have a truck set up near the activity centre and will be selling food and drinks (cash only). We will also have picnic tables for you to sit down and enjoy.

The Abony Family Tennis Centre will also be joining us this year! They will have tennis as well as sport vision activities set up in the parking lot near the activity centre.

There will also be bouncy castles set up again in the activity center. They will only be available from 10:30am-12:30pm. If it is not during your players playing time, please feel free to arrive earlier than your game time or return to the field when they will be available.

Players from the STU Women’s, UNB Women’s and UNB Men’s Soccer Teams will also be out to cheer on our players and help present medals and treat bags!

The Fredericton District Soccer Association will celebrate the sport of soccer in the city with 13 home matches of the course of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The main festivities will take place a ScotiaBank North (SBN) turf field on Cliffe St (behind Willie O’Ree Arena) while other games will also take place at Barker St and ScotiaBank South (SBS) fields.

Teams from Fundy, Dieppe and Codiac Soccer Clubs will travel in to play matches vs FDSA Premiership and Picaroons Reds Senior Teams ranging from U13 to Senior A levels.

Festivities will include a P.A Announcer for all games, A Canteen for food and refreshments, PLayer of the Game Awards, Soccer Tennis, Merchandise tent, Washer Toss and more…
