Feb 19th Grow the Game Campaign 50/50 Winners

The FDSA’s Grow the Game Campaign 50/50 fundraiser continued this Friday with another weekly draw!

The winning ticket was # 7741406 owned by John Lally, who took home $136!

We also had an Early Bird Bonus draw of 2 Large pizzas from Boston Pizza

First Grow the Game Campaign 50/50 Jackpot Winner Announced

The FDSA’s Grow the Game Campaign 50/50 fundraiser had its first draw on Friday February 12th via Facebook Live!

The fundraiser is off to a flying start with more than 175 tickets purchased! The jackpot reached $356.

The winning ticket was # 5282884 owned by Scott MacAfee, who took home $178!

We also had an Early Bird Bonus draw which included Dinner for 2 at Dolan’s Pub and an FDSA Swag pack

2021 Summer Employment Opportunities

FDSA is looking to fill 2 -5 full-time summer positions for the period of May-Sept 2021. 2021 Call for Competitive Coaches

 The Fredericton District Soccer Association is currently accepting applications for coaches for our Competitive Programs for the summer of 2021. These are volunteer coaching positions working with motivated young athletes at a competitive level.  Coaches will be provided opportunities to attend complimentary training and certification courses necessary to coach at this level, along with access to ongoing website and in-person resources throughout the summer season.  

 FDSA is proposing the following Competitive Programs for 2021: 

Re-structured Enhanced Program

Foundations Phase (formerly U12 Enhanced)

  • 4 Boys & 4 Girls Teams

Development Phase (formerly U13 Premiership and Division 1)

  • 3 Boys & 3 Girls Teams

Division 1

  • U15 Boys & Girls
  • U18 Boys & Girls

Premiership

  • U14 Boys & Girls
  • U15 Boys & Girls
  • U17 Boys & Girls

 Applications must include an outline of coaching qualifications, previous coaching and playing experience, coaching philosophy, as well as the age, gender and category you wish to coach.  Applications must also include a copy of a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (dated within last 3 years) OR a copy of a receipt showing application for an updated version.

FDSA Launch Fundraising Campaign!

The Fredericton District Soccer Association is launching a new fundraising campaign!

The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to Grow the Game of soccer in the Fredericton area. We wish to continue to raise the level of programming we can provide, better train and prepare our coaches, improve our administration and communication. Our plan is to use the proceeds of this campaign to provide a better sporting experience for all our athletes and families, help to reduce barriers to participation and to increase participation in soccer as a whole... to grow the game of soccer in our community. We wish to continue to build a more cooperative, more inclusive and more inviting soccer community… and we need your assistance to do so! 

 This new fundraising campaign is a partnership with The Lotto Factory and will be a weekly Progressive 50/50 draw. For as little as $2 per week for a ticket, you will have the chance to win 50% of the accumulated pot that week. Only 1 ticket will be drawn each week. Be sure to play your registered ticket number each week because a progressive draw means that the weekly pot can either be won OR carried over to the following week’s draw if a number is drawn but was not played. Jackpots will continue to build each week until a paid ticket is drawn. The more tickets played, the bigger the jackpot gets, it’s that simple! You can play as many tickets as you like, it is up to you! Pay weekly or pre-pay your ticket(s) up to a full year in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.

Our Goal is to raise $20,000 for our club, while passing on more than $30,000 to draw winners!

The first draw will take place Friday, February 12th at 8pm. Please share with all your friends, family, inner and outer circles worldwide. This is not restricted to just FDSA members, anyone worldwide (except U.S) can contribute and is eligible to win!
