Position: Part-Time Executive Assistant Position Overview

FDSA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director in administrative, communication, and operational tasks. This part-time role is ideal for an individual with experience in office management, social media, and stakeholder communications. The Executive Assistant will help streamline operations, enhance communication efforts, and improve overall efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administration & Operations

• Assist with general administrative duties, including email and phone management, scheduling, and document organization.
• Support the management of club expenditures, invoicing, and financial documentation.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to club operations.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and engagement initiatives. 
  
  Communications & Marketing

• Develop and execute internal and external communications, including newsletters, website updates, and email campaigns.
• Manage FDSA’s social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
• Respond to inquiries from members, sponsors, and community partners.
• Assist in creating promotional materials for programs, events, and sponsorships.
  
  Qualifications
  Required

• Experience in administrative support, communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Assets

• Background in sports administration, marketing, or event coordination.
• Experience working with community organizations or non-profits.
• Familiarity with Canva, or other digital marketing tools.
  
  Working Conditions

• Part-time position with flexible hours (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
• Remote work possible, with occasional in-person meetings and events.
• Some evening and weekend availability may be required.
  
  Compensation
  
  Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.

The Fredericton District Soccer Association is seeking applications for volunteer coaching positions for our 2025 Competitive Programs. This opportunity allows you to work with motivated young athletes at a high level of play.

Coaches will receive access to complimentary training, certification courses, and ongoing resources throughout the summer season.

FDSA’s proposed competitive teams for 2025:

• U13 Foundations Girls (3-4 Teams)
• U13 Foundations Boys (3-4 Teams)
• U15 Division I Girls & Boys
• U18 Division I Girls & Boys
• U14 Premiership Girls & Boys
• U15 Premiership Girls & Boys
• U17 Premiership Girls & Boys

Applicants must provide:

• Coaching qualifications, experience, and philosophy
• Age, gender, and category preference
• A current criminal record check (within 2 years) or receipt for an updated check.
